This supplement to The American Journal of Managed Care provides a clinical overview of pain management and the value of treatment with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The discussion includes evidence that helps quantify the clinical and economic impact of serious adverse events associated with NSAIDs.
