Edith Rosato, RPh, IOM, the chief executive officer of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, recently shared the organization’s Top 5 strategic priorities for the coming year.

“Managed care pharmacy is widely understood and accepted as integral to the delivery of quality and affordable health care,” commented Edith Rosato, RPh, IOM, chief executive officer of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP), prior to one of the general sessions at the AMCP Educational Conference 2012.

During the conference, Ms Rosato took to the stage before former US Senator Bill Bradley to share 5 strategic priorities she planned to address in the coming year in order to make AMCP the go-to organization for information:

  • Being the leading provider of education, research, and resources for managed care pharmacy
  • Expanding the value of membership
  • Improving patient outcomes and healthcare affordability
  • Being the authoritative voice for managed care pharmacy
  • Executing with organizational excellence
