Coverage of our peer-reviewed research in the healthcare and mainstream press.

The Gainesville Sun depicted the stories of patients with Parkinson’s disease and their family members in an article titled “Parkinson’s patients: The fight of their lives.” As it discussed the disease’s progression and the importance of early diagnosis, it cited research from The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®) that indicated exercise and physical therapy can slow the progression of Parkinson’s. The report, “Early Treatment of Parkinson’s Disease: Opportunities for Managed Care,” was published in the September 2012 AJMC® supplement issue “Best Practices for Treating Parkinson’s Disease: A Focus on Symptoms and Considerations.”
