Ms Matloff referred to a study from the Government Accountability Office that proved different tests lead to different results in the same study. Regarding future trends in genetic testing, Ms Matloff notes the increase of ovarian, pancreatic, and renal cell cancer genetic testing and research. Ms Nagy said that there will also be expansions in cardiovascular diseases and in neurology. As testing costs decrease, there will continue to be growth in testing research.
