The study, “Operating Room Efficiency of Orthopedic Surgery During the COVID-19 Era,” found that there was minimal change in operating room efficiency during the start of the pandemic.
An article from Becker’s Payer Issues referenced a study published in the November 2023 issue of AJMC. The study, “Medicare Advantage in Rural Areas: Implications for Hospital Sustainability,” reported that greater hospital sustainability was associated with increased Medicare Advantage penetration from 2008 to 2019.
