Atopic Dermatitis: One Patient's Experience With Instructions Regarding Use of Dupilumab

Video

Elizabeth Acuna: The instructions and advice that I’ve been given regarding dupilumab, and the treatment schedule, have been really great. Obviously, it’s through the study protocol. So, I’ve been given some great advice about how to inject the medicine—following which areas to inject, which sites, and how to rotate that around. On top of that, calling in adverse reactions if I have anything. I make sure I call those in. The third thing is a weekly log, so I call in and report how I’m feeling. It’s a scale, 1-10, on certain things like how I’m feeling this week compared to other weeks. It really keeps a nice pulse on things. I definitely have some good follow-up and instructions where I feel very safe and very comfortable with the medication.
