Transcript:
Datapalooza will take place near the one-month mark of the Biden Administration, and your conversation with former HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will discuss where we go next in healthcare reform. What do you see as “year one” tasks for the new administration, as well as “must do” items for a first term?
Jain: I couldn't be more excited about my upcoming conversation with Secretary Sebelius. I think that the "year one" task is to stabilize the country's COVID-19 response. I think there's many of us who are very interested in seeing progressive movement around innovative uses of data. We're very interested in expansions and coverage and new payment models. But ultimately, I think the moment requires that we all focus our energies and attention to improving our pandemic response. And so, I believe that some of the conversation with Secretary Sebelius will focus on her thoughts on how we could do better as a country in our response to the global pandemic.
