Home Care, Hospice Group Wants Delay on Reform

Representatives for the home healthcare and hospice industries say they will continue to push for a delay in the implementation of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, now that it has been upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court.

The National Association for Home Care & Hospice believes the ACA can and should be improved, according to a statement from President Val Halamandaris that was released by the association. The group maintains that home healthcare providers' funding was cut disproportionately by the ACA, and it opposes the imposition of copayments or added reimbursement cuts.
