Patricia K. Coyle, MD, joins the discussion and describes the relationship between clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) and radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS) to MS. Dr Coyle explains the importance of these more recent clinical courses when studying the diagnosis or development of MS.
