He highlighted the importance of patient education, shared decision-making, and addressing cost and access barriers. Desai also explored multiple innovative strategies such as behavioral economics, personalized medicine, and digital tools to improve adherence.
He explained that a holistic approach to care is needed, particularly in addressing racial and ethnic disparities and integrating personalized medicine to achieve health equity. Additionally, he spoke on the promise of new therapies and the role of remote care in enhancing patient outcomes and quality of life.
