Because of this, data is particularly important for patient populations insured under Medicare or Medicaid managed care, Medicare Advantage, the health insurance exchange, and the accountable care organization marketplace.

“Data is driving what is the success or failure of healthcare in this new capitated managed care marketplace—and the importance of how it is to the actual consumer and their provider—is critical,” says Dr Dunleavy.
