Dr Sugarbaker says that adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma (SCC), and large-cell carcinoma (LCC) are all considered in the broader category of NSCLC. The therapy for each of these histologies is determined by different indicators, and then classified into stages I-IV.
