Dr Julie M. Vose to Discuss Value, Quality, and Cost in AJMC Tweetchat

On November 3, at 11 a.m. EST, the president of the American Society of Clinical Oncology will host a tweetchat with The American Journal of Managed Care. Get a preview of Dr. Julie Vose's speech at Patient-Centered Oncology Care.

PLAINSBORO, N.J.—On November 19, Julie M. Vose, MD, MBA, FASCO, current president of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), will give a keynote address at this year’s Patient-Centered Oncology Care meeting in Baltimore, Maryland, but Twitter users will get a free preview 2 weeks earlier.

During a tweetchat from 11-11:45 am EST on November 3, The American Journal of Managed Care (AJMC) will host a tweetchat with ASCO, where Dr Vose will preview her speech, which will focus on what it will take to ensure true patient-centered oncology care.

ASCO’s president will also answer questions from participants and discuss topics that include evidence-based practice, rapid learning systems, and driving high-quality, high-value cancer care in a post-sustainable growth rate world.

“This is a time of great challenge and great opportunity for cancer care,” said Dr Vose. “Having a dialogue with all stakeholders is so important to ensure our patients remain the primary focus during a period of tremendous change.”
