A story published by The Columbus Dispatch cited an article published on AJMC.com, the website of The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). The article, titled “Cigna Dangles $500 to Persuade Patients to Switch Psoriasis Drugs,” indicated that as the first quarter of 2021 ended, patients choosing to keep using secukinumab may have been offered an inducement to switch to another biologic, ixekizumab.
A press release issued by Cano Health referenced a study published in the June 2021 issue of AJMC®, titled “Managed Care COVID-19 Outcomes in a Population Health Program.” The study found that COVID-19–specific mortality for Cano Health members was 60% lower compared with an age- and gender-matched mirror group of Florida residents.
