It Depends on the State,” covered a Health Care Cost Institute report that found that the cost of giving birth could vary by thousands of dollars depending on where the birth took place in the United States, from $8300 in Arkansas to $20,000 in New York.
A piece by Health Digest referenced an article published on AJMC.com. The article, “Sex Hormones May Play an Important Role in Multiple Sclerosis Prevalence and Development,” covered a review of hormones and their respective immunological mechanisms. The review found that it was probable that sex hormones influence the prevalence and course of multiple sclerosis.
