The article, “US Ranks Worst in Maternal Care, Mortality Compared With 10 Other Developed Nations,” discusses how the United States has a relative undersupply of maternity care providers, no guaranteed access to provider home visits or paid parental leave, and the highest maternal death rate, especially in non-Hispanic Black women, compared with 10 other developed nations.
