American Journal of Pharmacy Benefits Collaborates With MedImpact to Publish Drug Trends
PLAINSBORO, N.J. — The American Journal of Pharmacy Benefits, a peer-reviewed publication under The American Journal of Managed Care network, today announced an editorial collaborates with MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. to provide the journal’s “Drug Trends” column six times a year.
MedImpact is the largest full-service pharmacy benefit manager (PBM) that derives revenue by managing the drug benefit, not from dispensing drugs. The first MedImpact contribution to “Drug Trends,” on changes in medication adherence by market segment, will appear in the January/February issue of AJPB. It will feature observations about medications that treat three common conditions: diabetes, hypertension and cholesterol.
