Andrew Sussman, MD, president of MinuteClinic and senior vice president and associate chief medical officer of CVS Caremark, foresees a number of changes to come in terms of healthcare delivery in the US.

“I think we’re going to continue to see a great focus on providing the right care at the price in the right location and that emphasis will continue to be important,” Dr Sussman says.

Among others, he says that transitions in evidence-based care and systems of care, like accountable care organizations, are the future of healthcare delivery.
