"Change happens at the speed of measurement," Troy Trygstad, PharmD, MBA, PhD, vice president of pharmacy programs at Community Care of North Carolina, said at the Pharmacy Quality Alliance 10th Annual Meeting in Arlington, Virginia, May 13-15.
He added that there is an increasing realization that measurement methods and metrics being discussed now will impact how medication optimization programs look like for at least the next decade.
