This newest offering from Priority Health educates and supports parents, caregivers, and their children through the second birthday through providing resources that focus on infant health and safety.
Grand Rapids, Michigan — On March 7, Priority Health, the nationally recognized nonprofit health benefits company, announced the launch of PriorityBABY, which builds upon the success of PriorityMOM, a similar initiative that celebrated its 2-year anniversary last year.
PriorityBABY aims to offer comprehensive education and support services to enrolled parents and caregivers who have newborn dependents through the child's second birthday. The initiative's focus is infant health and safety, with resources that include physician appointment reminders, cost and coverage plan information, and health care tips.
“The physical, mental and emotional development of a child is very important in the first two years of life, and we understand that parents may encounter challenges and have questions about cost of care and coverage,” said Kristen Burleson, director of health plan quality improvement for Priority Health. “That’s why we developed PriorityBABY—to provide customized support and education for our members, from birth to toddlerhood.”
