Balavignesh Thirumalainambi, MS, MBA, CPHIMS, CHTS-CP

Balavignesh (Bala) Thirumalainambi is the meaningful use director for the New Jersey Health Information Technology Extension Center (NJ-HITEC) leading the department that educates, trains, and analyzes meaningful use statewide. His team will assist 5000 primary care providers in New Jersey achieve meaningful use in accordance with federal requirements. Prior to NJ-HITEC, Mr. Thirumalainambi was the coordinator/project manager of Health e-cITi-NJ, a federally funded health information exchange in New Jersey.
