Dr Druz is a nationally recognized expert in cardiology, with a focus on prevention and cardiac imaging. She has a long-standing interest in functional medicine, and has developed comprehensive programs utilizing genomic and metabolic approaches for treatment and prevention of cardiac disease. Dr Druz is a passionate believer in creating web-based and mobile tools for patient engagement. In 2013, Dr Druz launched a start-up company, iVisitMD, Inc, which connects patients seeking evaluation for urgent symptoms with healthcare professionals for walk-in, phone or video visits.
