Number 4: While immunotherapy has seen great success in cancers like melanoma and lung cancer, glioblastoma has not been among the immunotherapy success stories, with few advances in more than a decade. However, this next year may bring a different story for the disease.

Number 3: CMS has proposed requiring patients to enroll in CMS registries and be tracked for 2 years in order for institutions to receive Medicare reimbursement for CAR T-cell therapy.

Number 2: A study in this month’s issue of AJMC® found that the majority of value-based arrangements are not publicly disclosed, which could underestimate their true prevalence and impact.

Number 1: Three years after UnitedHealthcare named Medtronic its preferred supplier of insulin pumps for adults, the insurer has extended the pact to youth starting at age 7.
