This supplement to The American Journal of Managed Care reviews the role of inhaled corticosteroids in the management of asthma and the importance of treating small airway disease, particularly inflammation. It also discusses the clinical efficacy and cost-effectiveness of beclomethasone dipropionate HFA in comparison with other asthma therapies.
