A piece by healthcareglobal.com referenced an article published in the December 2020 issue of Evidence-Based Oncology™. The article, “Implementation of Chronic Care Management and Telehealth in Oncology,” spotlighted a panel discussion at Patient-Centered Oncology Care® 2020 that covered practical methods and the potential benefits of utilizing chronic care management billing and telehealth in oncology.
An article by Virtual Strategy Magazine featured an article published on AJMC.com, the website of The American Journal of Managed Care®. The article, “Diabetic Amputations May Be Rising in the United States,” noted that lower-limb amputations may be rising in the United States after decades of decline, with approximately 230 reported amputations attributed to diabetes each day in the United States.
A piece posted on boston.com cited an article on AJMC.com, titled “Racial Disparities Persist in Maternal Morbidity, Mortality and Infant Health.” The article noted findings of a review presented at the American Diabetes Association’s 80th Scientific Sessions that indicated American women die in childbirth at a higher rate than in any other developed country, while non-Hispanic Black women are more than 3 times more likely to have a maternal death than White women in the United States.
