An article by Business Insurance referenced a study published in the December 2020 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care®. The commentary, “The Persistent Pandemic of Violence Against Health Care Workers,” indicated that the problem of violence against health care workers has escalated across the world, with only 26 of 50 states currently having any law to protect health care workers from assault.
