The study, “Screening for Health Literacy, Social Determinants, and Discrimination in Health Plans,” found that calling patients at the time of enrollment in a health plan could help in collecting health literacy data.

The study determined that identifying the motivation behind a patient’s use of telehealth could help shed light on the value of telehealth services.
