An article by HealthPayerIntelligence cited an article published in the November 2020 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). The study, “Differences in Spending for Diabetes and Multiple Chronic Conditions in Michigan Medicare Beneficiaries,” found that diabetes and multiple chronic conditions increase overall Medicare spending, with spending increases exhibited more prominently in minority beneficiaries compared with White beneficiaries with similar comorbidity combinations.
A piece by Gallup, titled “5 Forces That Will Reshape the Future of Health Care,” referenced a contributor article published on AJMC.com, the website of AJMC®. The article, “Four Strategies Health Care Leaders Can Use to Maximize Virtual Health Care,” examined the rise of virtual care and telemedicine amid the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic and how health care executives can better leverage these novel services.
