An article in AL.com referenced a study published in the June 2023 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). The study, “COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy and Health Literacy in US Southern States,” found that hesitancy for COVID-19 vaccines was not associated with health literacy and instead reduced vaccine hesitancy was more closely associated with personal perception of threat.
