Barry Singer, MD, director, MS Center for Innovations in Care, St. Louis, MO, said that the Affordable Care Act could cause challenges in terms of coverage. Though it will afford the uninsured benefits, coverage options may be limited. Dr Singer also addressed moving towards evidence-based patient-centered care in multiple sclerosis (MS) treatment. Specifically, Dr Singer discusses the use of quality-of-life outcome measure like fatigue status scales to improve care.
