BREAKING: Deal Near on SGR Fix

The joint House-Senate conference committee tasked with fixing the Medicare SGR formula is nearing a deal, according to news sources.
The $20-billion fix, which would avoid a 28% cut in physician payments scheduled to begin March 1, would reportedly be offset by cuts in the budget.
