Glycemic Targeting

In this video segment Dr. Huckfeldt discussed factors contributing to low levels of glycemic control. Patient, medication and physician factors can all effect medication adherence.

Glycemic control reduces the risks of complications in diabetes, but many patients with type 1 diabetes (T1D) still do not achieve their goals of glycemic control, said Dr. Peter Huckfeldt, PhD, Prodessor, Pardee RAND Graduate School. In this video segment Dr. Huckfeldt discussed factors contributing to low levels of glycemic control. Patient, medication and physician factors can all effect medication adherence.
