Medicare Patients Have Few Complaints

Medicare beneficiaries seem to be happier with their coverage than those with employer-sponsored private health insurance, according to a survey by the Commonwealth Fund.

One-fifth of those covered by employer-sponsored health insurance and 33% of those with policies from the individual market rated their coverage as "fair or poor" compared with only 8% of Medicare beneficiaries, fund president Karen Davis, PhD, of New York City, and colleagues wrote online in Health Affairs.
