Priority Health Launches Cancer Support Solutions for Employers

Grand Rapids, Michigan, July 22, 2026 – Priority Health, a nationally recognized health plan serving more than 1.4 million members, has launched 2 new cancer support solutions to help employers manage rising cancer-related costs for their employees, improve health outcomes, and provide proactive support across the cancer journey.

The National Institutes of Health forecasts a 34% increase in cancer spending by 2030, while cancer care already accounts for about 7% of total US health care spending. As a leading cause of death and disease in the US, cancer places a significant health and financial burden on patients, making early detection and navigation support critical.

“Employers are encountering significant financial exposure and workforce impact due to late-stage cancer diagnoses, which can increase treatment costs,” Chase Osbourne, senior vice president of employer solutions and innovation at Priority Health, said in a news release. “We’re offering these solutions in direct response to what our employer partners have told us—they need a way to control costs, support their employees, and drive better health outcomes. These new solutions deliver on all 3 fronts.”

The new solutions feature partnerships with 2 separate organizations: Color Health and its American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO)-certified Virtual Cancer Clinic for cancer navigation, support, and screening; and GRAIL for multi-cancer early detection, enabling employers to tailor offerings based on their workforce needs.

Color Health provides clinical, guidelines-concordant cancer care, from screening and early detection through active treatment and survivorship. Color’s oncologist-led, 50-state medical group establishes patient-provider relationships to enable clinical interventions that reduce cancer costs and significantly improve outcomes. Color drives 20% member engagement in year 1, leading to a 77% increase in screening adherence, 66% quicker time to diagnosis, and $62,000 in cost savings per patient.

GRAIL offers multi-cancer early detection through a blood test that screens for many cancer types, including cancers without recommended screenings.

“Too often, cancer is found only after symptoms appear, when treatment can be more complex, more costly, and less likely to lead to the best possible outcomes,” Megan Hall, PhD, vice president of medical affairs at GRAIL, said in a news release. “Priority Health is demonstrating leadership by bringing innovative cancer support solutions to employers, including access to the Galleri multi-cancer early detection test that can screen for many of the deadliest cancers before symptoms develop.
