Article

In 2022, CMS awarded 5 stars to Priority Health's HMO Medicare Advantage plan, 4.5 stars to its PPO plan, and 4 starts to its Dual-eligible Special Needs plan.

Grand Rapids, Michigan — For the second year in a row, high Medicare Star Ratings have been bestowed on Priority Health for the 2024 plan year. The HMO/POS and PPO plans each received 4.5 of 5 stars. Among Michigan-based plans, this newest rating is the highest this year.

The 5-star rating system is invoked every year, and last year CMS awarded 5 stars to Priority Health's HMO Medicare Advantage plan, 4.5 stars to its PPO plan, and 4 starts to its Dual-eligible Special Needs plan. Priority Health plans are also consistently ranked as the highest-rated plans in Michigan.

“These exceptional ratings show our commitment to ensuring our members get the service and care they need at an affordable cost,” said Joyce Chan Russell, senior vice president of government markets at Priority Health. “Year after year, Priority Health continues to be a leader in quality and will continue offering better benefits and lower premiums for Medicare members.”
