Putting Care at the Center Conference Addresses the Emerging Field of Complex Care

Putting Care at the Center is bringing together innovators from across the country to network, learn from each other, and create a shared agenda for the emerging field of complex care.

Putting Care at the Center, the inaugural conference of the National Center for Complex Health and Social Needs, will be Wednesday, December 7, through Friday, December 9, in downtown Philadelphia. We’re bringing together innovators from across the country to network, learn from each other, and create a shared agenda for the emerging field of complex care.

Attendees will learn about the science of model building, innovative funding as a lever for change, building a field to understand care, and more. The keynote address on equity in healthcare will be given by Geoffrey Canada, president of the Harlem Children’s Zone.

Attendees will also be able to participate in workshops delivered by organizations from around the country who have established models for addressing complex needs: the Southcentral Foundation, Health Leads, the National Center for Medical-Legal Partnership, Hennepin Health, the National Governor’s Association, and the Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers. The plenary panels will be moderated by Jackie Judd, special correspondent for PBS NewsHour.
