What do you want others to know about implementing OCM?
I think overall that the challenges that we would want others to know about it is that the planning of something like this is a daunting exercise. It can overwhelm a practice, so you have to take each step one step by step. You can’t allow yourself to bite off too much at any given time. That’s one piece.
The other piece is just to understand that this is a long-term commitment and we have extended enormous resource here, both in personnel and in infrastructure and we need to know that in the end it was all worth something and that we are not going to jettison a program such as this or any of the value-based programs because we believe that it is the best thing for the patient. We believe the patient gets a better experience, better care, and it’s also great for our clinicians because they are more engaged and they are doing what they want to do which is manage clinical outcomes for their patients.
