Asembia's AXS25 Summit will unite more than 8000 key decision-makers to explore pharmacy innovation, artificial intelligence, policy, and patient care from April 27 to May 1 at Wynn & Encore in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The conference will take place at Wynn & Encore, Las Vegas, beginning on Sunday, April 27, and will run until Thursday, May 1.
"Asembia is a conference that I've attended since its early days, so I definitely attend to not only reconvene with some contacts within the industry network and collaborate with industry peers, but also one of the things that Asembia does a great job of is all of the sessions and educational components," said Fran Gregory, PharmD, MBA, vice president of emerging therapies at Cardinal Health, in an interview with The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®).
Attendees include c-suite executives, market access professionals, pharmacy owners/operators, managed care leadership, drug purchasing agents/ trade teams, pharmacists, nurses, physicians, product brand teams, national and regional account managers, industry consultants, and other important health care & pharmacy supply chain professionals.
Last year, the conference hosted more than 1400 companies and more than 8000 attendees, of whom 79% were “director level” or above key decision-makers.
Agenda at a Glance
The first full day of AXS25 kicks off on Monday, April 28, with various continuing education sessions with specialty topics such as real-world applications of new therapies, management strategies in pulmonary arterial hypertension, and biologic therapy use in asthma management.
On Tuesday, April 29, multiple general sessions will be taking place in the morning. Doug Long, vice president of industry relations at IQVIA, will present on recent US pharmaceutical trends, issues, and what’s next to come in the industry.
There will also be a pharmacy panel, featuring key industry experts: Lucille Accetta, RPh, MPH, MBA, senior vice president of pharmacy benefit management and specialty product development, CVS Health; Thomas Cohn, MS, chief strategy officer, Asembia; Bruce Japsen, senior contributor, Forbes; Tanvi Patel, vice president and general manager, Amazon Pharmacy; and Guillermo Sollberger, senior vice president, CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy.
In another fascinating general session titled ‘Humanity in Action: The Importance of Empathy & Service,’ keynote speaker Gary Sinise, actor-humanitarian and founder of the Gary Sinise Foundation, will be joined by Shannon Bream, anchor of Fox News Sunday.
