Tom Elasy, MD, MPH, is a practicing internist and diabetologist. He completed his medical training at the University of Maryland, internship/residency/chief residency at the University of Colorado, and his fellowship training at the University of North Carolina where he also received his Epidemiology degree. He is Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University where he holds the Ann and Roscoe R. Robinson Chair of Clinical Research in the Diabetes Center. Dr. Elasy also serves as Director of the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
