The Trump administration has made it clear that transparency in healthcare is a top priority and has since set its focus on several pain points that are having the biggest impact on providers and patients, including the prices of hospital services and surprise medical bills. So far this year, the administration has required hospitals to post price lists for all of their services online, and both the administration and Congress have introduced guidelines and legislation aimed at tackling surprise medical bills.
