An article from Your Tango referenced a study published in the February 2000 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care^® (AJMC^®). The study, “Cost of Treating Influenza in Emergency Department and Hospital Settings,” found that substantial cost savings to managed care and decreased hospitalizations could result from early intervention to treat influenza.
