How will value-based oncology care make the cancer treatment experience more patient centered?
Value care for the patient really is a great thing, because I believe it's going to bring the specialists together as they look at maximizing the quality and the value for the patient. So I think it's going to bring everyone, all the caregivers, together well; it's going to allow the patient to spend more time explaining what she wants; and people should probably listen more.
Data analysis showed that 40% of patients who filled a prescription for Wegovy in 2021 or 2022 were still taking it a year later; both Democrats and reproductive rights organizations are pressuring the Biden administration to ensure health insurers fully cover contraception; CMS implemented Medicare changes in March that limited access to blood tests that help transplant recipients ensure their organs remain healthy.
