Health System Pilots See Lackluster Bundled Payment Results

Three health care systems have reported that efforts to bundle payments for specific episodes of care have proven not quite as efficient as they initially thought the program would be. The systems have been attempting to implement bundling payments for three years without a single contract even being entered into.
