HIMSS Praises Health IT in GOP's Platform

One healthcare interest group expressed support for a portion of the Republican Party's platform and said it could be an area of common ground with Democrats.

Released Tuesday, the GOP's official platform supports "technology enhancements for medical health records and data systems while affirming patient privacy and ownership of health information."
