"Claims data has its unique strengths and its inherent weaknesses. Electronic medical record data has strengths and weaknesses as well and is actually very different than claims data. So, when you combine those data together, you are actually pulling on the strings of each and also addressing the weaknesses of the [one data source] with the strengths of the other."
