Packard Children's Hospital, California Pacific Medical Center Collaborate On Pediatric Care

Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford and California Pacific Medical Center have formed a collaborative relationship to improve children's access to specialized hospital care, according to a Packard Children's news release.

As part of the collaboration, Palo Alto, Calif.-based Packard Children's and San Francisco-based CPMC created an entity to provide oversight and support of joint efforts on pediatric care.

Packard Children's pediatric specialists will work in the inpatient units at CPMC and will provide on-call specialty coverage at the hospital. Packard Children's will also open outpatient clinics in San Francisco to follow-up with patients who were hospitalized at CPMC.
