Looking at the situation in hepatitis C and its potential impact on other conditions from a provider standpoint, Ed Cohen, PharmD, FAPhA, offers up many questions to which there may not be answers just yet.
He explained that if the situation isn’t made sustainable so that all patients can participate there is going to be a lot of confusion from patients about why they were or were not eligible for a drug and how they can access the products.
“It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out,” Dr Cohen said.
