The panelists further explore feedback and its role in pathway adherence.

Dr Nabhan said that feedback can depend on the care setting. It is critical to determine where care variances are happening, and whether they are happening at an individual level or if they are due to poor institutional practices. An organization — whether small or large — can benefit from utilizing feedback as long as it is used by systems in a constructive manner. Feedback can also drive home the importance of pathway adherence.
