Tennessee Oncology has announced the appointment of Kate Baker, MD, MMHC, as Medical Director of Supportive Care Services.
In this role, Baker will lead Tennessee Oncology’s multidisciplinary supportive care efforts, helping patients manage the physical, emotional, and practical challenges that can come with cancer and its treatment. Supportive care services focus on symptom management, quality of life, emotional and psychosocial support, survivorship, integrative care, genetic counseling, and financial resources—providing patients and families with support throughout every stage of the cancer journey.
Baker is board-certified in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology and is a member of the Community Oncology Alliance, American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.
