This webcast is the second program of a continuing series focused on quality payment programs.
CRANBURY, N.J.--The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®), the leading peer-reviewed journal dedicated to topics in managed care, will host the webcast, “Implementing the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) for Improved Population Health,” on Jan. 31 at 12 pm, 3 pm, and 6 pm. The webcast will be moderated by Kavita Patel, MD, nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, co-founder of Tuple Health, and primary care physician at Johns Hopkins Medicine. Patel will be joined by Stephen Grubbs, MD, clinical assistant professor of medicine at Thomas Jefferson Medical School and vice president of the Clinical Affairs Department, American Society of Clinical Oncology, and Robin Zon, MD, chair of the government relations committee at the American Society of Clinical Oncology.

The featured speakers will discuss the importance of the program for the medical community, the role of these programs in improving patient outcomes, and the advantages and disadvantages of letting physicians choose the measures by which they can be evaluated.
